Monthly flower arranging workshops for new and continuing students. All classes take place Saturdays, 10:00 – 1:00 at 747 Madison Ave., Albany, NY, Community Office Suite (2nd floor). Registration required by the Thursday prior to class. Beginners welcome. Flowers and branches are provided to students new to ikebana.
Returning students bring their own flowers and branches and work through the lessons in the Sogetsu textbook at individual pace. During each class, students work in small groups to make freestyle arrangements, intuitively bringing the principles of ikebana into practice. $25 class fee.
